David is improving so much! =D
I'm so happy he is recovering so quickly, although full recovery will be a long road at least he's on his way!
look at this blog for pictures of him and where he fell from :/ and updates on his status.

you're a color by number
but the key is all wrong
the colors seem
like they don't belong
but now that each space
is filled with a hue
I'm starting to think
the legend was true
cause your face is red
your heart is blue
and while you're stained
I can still see through
Oh goodness, I don't even know where to begin.
maybe here is a good place: http://www.azcentral.com/community/phoenix/articles/0404phx-pvhigh404Z3.html
Anyway, they said that when he fell his brain hit his eye sockets and twisted, which bruised//injured the front left section of his brain and broke some connections. Damage to this area of his brain is not a good thing. It's the area that controls what they call "executive functions." Which includes, decision making and judgment. The area also controls personality traits. So when he recovers, he may never be fully functional again, and he may not be "David" anymore, or ever again. :(
It's so heart-breaking. He has done so much, like football and wrestling every year since middle school, and he plays the piano very well. I can't imagine him not doing those things anymore. Since his judgment may be impaired he may never drive or do many other things like that.
He also has pneumonia in one lung, probably caused by his immune system being down due to his head injury. The doctors said he'll probably experience the most recovery over the next 2 years, but after that he probably won't recover anymore, and he may have recurring infections [more cases of pneumonia] because of it.
He managed not to actually break any bones, probably because he's pretty muscular and that both cushioned and held his bones together, but his body is like a giant bruise. His muscles are bruised, and so is his brain. He's in a medically/chemically induced coma right now. They wake him up every hour to check on him but he usually wakes up frantic and thrashing cause his body is going crazy and so they have to put him back under because they don't want him to move too much and make things worse.
So many people are praying for him and his family. He needs all the help he can get.
